PATIENT CARE

Our Physicians integrate the guidelines of several organizations for your healthcare needs. These include the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecology, American College of Clinical Endocrinology, United States Preventative Services Task Force, American Cancer Society and American Academy of Pediatrics.

Our goal is to assist patients to optimal wellness. We integrate medical and holistic approaches to help you achieve your health goals. We provide a variety of aesthetic treatments and nutritional products to heal you from the inside out.

Emergencies
For immediate care and support for health emergencies, established patients may walk in to our office between 8:00 am and 9:00 am Monday through Friday. Please arrive at our office during this allocated time so we can respect patients that have scheduled appointments. If you are a new patient and have an emergency, please call our office to make an appointment.

Injuries and Illnesses
 Our Physicians are proactive in the management of injuries and illnesses. Among them are sports injuries, suspected bone fractures, inflammations, muscle sprains, skin rashes, hives, burns, abdominal and digestive discomfort, allergies, sinus trouble, pneumonia, flu, cold, fever, female issues, urinary tract infections, wound care and much more.

Chronic Diseases
Our Physicians emphasize close monitoring of chronic diseases, such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, thyroid disorders, mental health issues, sleep disorders, arthritis, rheumatism, anemia and much more.

Prescriptions
All prescriptions are written or called in after being reviewed by our Physicians. To improve quality and consistent care, our Physicians provide prescriptions for the whole year during annual examinations. Please give our office 24 hours to process all prescription requests. For written prescriptions requested outside of an office visit, there is a $5.00 fee per prescription medication.

Laboratory Services
As a courtesy and convenience to our patients, we provide blood draw services at our office from 8:00 am to 9:00 am Monday through Friday.

Annual Female Examinations
We highly recommend female patients to complete a comprehensive examination once every year. An annual female examination may include laboratory testing, urinalysis, pap smear, birth control maintenance, immunizations as appropriate and any additional testing as necessary. Please bring a list of all the medications you current take with you to your annual examination.

Annual Male Examination
Male patients are recommended to complete a full examination once every year. An annual male examination may include but is not limited to, laboratory testing, urinalysis, immunizations as appropriate. Please bring a list of the medications that you currently take with you during your annual male examination.

Adolescent Annual Examination
For ages 14 to 17, adolescent physicals may include a urinalysis, laboratory testing, immunizations as appropriate, health risk assessment and additional testing if necessary. Minors under the age of 18 require a parent or legal guardian to accompany them during their appointment time or have a signed written consent for medical treatment.

School Physicals
School physicals often require students to complete a health examination for sports and other extra curricular activities. School physicals may include a urinalysis, laboratory testing, immunizations as appropriate, cardiac analysis and additional testing if necessary. Please bring any school physical forms that need to be completed to your appointment.

Infant Care
Developing a strong relationship with your Physician from birth is important for continued health and wellness. An infant examination includes age appropriate immunizations, dietary and developmental guidance.

Operative Clearance Examinations
An examination of clearance may be required prior to a surgical procedure. An operative clearance examination may include laboratory services, cardiac appropriate testing and additional testing if necessary.

Vaccinations
Vaccinations are reviewed during annual examinations and can be provided at age appropriate intervals at our office.

Procedures
Minor dermatological procedures, biopsies of skin aspiration lesions, removal of cysts and office gynecological procedures are a few of the procedures our Physicians provide.

Weight Loss and Nutrition
Our Practice is certified in First Line Therapy, a specialized program for improving body composition. In addition to medical assessment, we offer a unique Bioelectrical Analysis Test (BIA), which provides valuable information about how many calories you burn a day, quantity of body muscle, fat and water content. The BIA test is used to monitor your individual weight loss progress. Personalized dietary and lifestyle guidance with our Physicians and Nutritional Consultant is highly recommended with emphasis on meal planning and nutritional education. Nutritional supplementation specifically designed for body composition and metabolism are available to help you reach your weight goals at a faster pace. Our detoxification program can help in identifying food allergies and may promote weight loss. Nutritional Supplements
We carry Physician dispensed, high quality nutritional supplements which offer an alternative, natural method to balance and healing. Our Metagenics supplements contain pure, highly absorbable nutrient forms and are based on scientific research and individual case management studies. Consult with our Physicians and Nutritional Consultant for specific recommendations for your health care needs!

Referrals
Our office coordinates care with specialty Physicians and insurance companies as needed. It is your responsibility to know whether your insurance requires a referral to see a specialist. Our office needs 5 business days to process any referral requests. Our office does not back date referrals.

Skin Care Consultations
We offer individual consultations on skin therapy, treatment of acne, scars, sun damage and other skin imbalances. In addition to recommending the treatment to fit your skin care needs, we offer prescription strength, Dermatology tested skin care products to fit your individual skin care needs.

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion gently exfoliates the skin without chemicals or laser, is non invasive and resurfaces superficial layers of the skin. Microdermabrasion minimizes the appearance of acne, pigmentation problems, uneven skin tones, scar spots, scarring, fine lines and wrinkles.

Chemical Peel
Chemical peel is a glycolic acid treatment to reduce acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, sun spots, blotchiness and freckles. Chemical peel is recommended for light skin tones and can be combined with a microdermabrasion.

Epilight
Epilight is a procedure to help reduce unwanted hair from the follicle. Epilight involves highly controlled flashes of light that are selectively absorbed by hair filled follicles lying below the surface of the skin. The absorbed light heats the hair, which destroys the regrowth of the hair. Epilight is the first photoepilation procedure proven to effectively treat unwanted hair on all skin types!

Photofacial
Photofacial uses Intensive pulsed light (IPL) technology which may correct a variety of benign skin conditions, such as rosacea, hyperpigmentation, signs of aging, birthmarks, acne and smoothing out skin blemishes. IPL improves both the superficial and deeper skin layers and rejuvenates the skin.

Botox
